WHAT IS IT?In an effort to engage residents who live in areas that don’t have neighborhood or home owner associations, the I'm instituting “Coffee and Conversations with the Councilwoman” in hopes to connect with residents. These small, informal gatherings take place on Saturday mornings in different area restaurants around the ward to make it convenient for residents to attend. The councilwoman opens the meeting with a brief overview of major issues facing the city and the ward, but then I'll invite questions from the audience. So check back within the next week or so to find out the location. And remember, the coffee is on me.
